July 4th celebrates of Bodhum independence…
The Bodhumian Revolutionary War marked the armed conflict between Sanctum and Bodhum city; the latter declared themselves independent. Early fighting took place on Cocoon, where conflict gradually expanded into a world war with Sanctum combating NORA.
The Bodhumian Revolutionary War had its origins in the resistance of many Bodhumians to their focuses. Many claimed were unconstitutional, imposed by the Sanctum parliament. NORA patriot protests escalated into boycotts and the destruction of Sactum property. Sanctum attempts to seize Bodhum guns, gunpowder and ammunition was the cause for the start of hostilities. This open armed conflict between the PSICOM and NORA. The NORA appointed General Snow Villiers to command the militia units, forcing them to evacuate the city. Lebreau supervised the war, giving Villiers command of the NORA.
Meanwhile, Sanctum began mustering forces to suppress the revolt. Lieutenant Colonels Jihl Nabaat and Yaag Rosch outmaneuvered and defeated Villiers, who later shrugged it off and replied,
“ Nothing to worry about! There’s nothing we can’t do! These people need heroes. Since when have heroes ever needed plans? The heroes always win! We gotta win this! N-OR-A! N-OR-A! N-OR-A! N-OR-A!”
The Sanctum government retaliated by blowing up a Bodhum bridge and killing a tough mom in the Bodhum Massacre…
