Not much seems out of the ordinary for Minfilia’s attire. She has all of the signature trademarks of an Akihiko Yoshida character. Tank top, yes. Exposed mid-section, check. Thigh high boots? Up to her crotch, apparently. Armor all around the legs? A moderate amount, but nothing excessive in past titles (i.e. Vaan).
The Easter Day colors work well together; they give Minfilia a soft tone. So what’s exactly wrong with her dress? Well, this might be a matter of taste, but the back of her dress has an Easter Egg for players…
Crack kills, people.
Interestingly enough, she has armor plates everywhere BUT her grand valley. She has to protect her hips. She also has to protect her thighs. And her arms. But as for her butt? It’s fine.
She has no belt, so her skirt (which appears to be the bottom half of a jacket) is always sliding down. Does Minfilia do her own plumbing? This eclipses even the weird straps that frame her top. What are they for? What do they do? It doesn’t matter. The focal point of her dress is what we shouldn’t see.
