I’m not sure what to make of Ultimecia’s gown. It’s very silky. The design looks cool in theory: her wide shoulders would compliment the triangular valley rushing down her midsection. The open leg split only creates yet another triangle for repetition. And the skirt drag creates yet another outer triangle. You have to be evil to wear something like this, and Ultimecia fits that bill.
From Ultimecia’s castle alone it’s fairly obvious she loves elegance. Only, just like her castle, it’s gaudy. Her V-neck is a straight drop down, stopping just short of another grand canyon. It’s just enough to cover any naughty bits, before splitting again at the legs. Her dress then drags on the floor
Her collar is probably the most distracting. Feathers? Fur? Both? Now ask yourself, why is it there? Why does a grown woman with crow wings on her black need a plumage of fur/feathers around her collar? Admittedly, it’s all very bestial – which is what she was going for. But it really beefs her back. The dress doesn’t do much favor for her either; the shoulder pads create a wide top frame for her.
But it’s even worst in Dissidia:
God, just stop.
