How would you feel if Square Enix remade Final Fantasy XI for the PS5 with no subscription?
I ask because I want to finally get a chance to play Final Fantasy XI. I missed it when it came out because I couldn’t get into the MMOs. And they cut the servers for the game. We can’t play the eleventh installment of the Final Fantasy series. Isn’t that crazy? I wish there was a way to play this game. I wish I could play this game as a solo experience.
What does this all mean? Well, besides having a decade and half run, fans still have an interest in playing it. For those who didn’t, aren’t you a little bit curious of what it’s like? Final Fantasy XIV may do many of the aspects better. But, wouldn’t you want to see Prishe and Shantotto in their respective arcs? Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy made me wonder, what’s the background behind these characters? But unless I watch a video for the story content online, I’ll never know.
I hear that fans could play most of the game solo, with the exception of a few major story bosses. If so, it would be a perfect game to make for the PlayStation 5. All of the expansions and updates could fit on one disc, or as downloadable content. Why not update the graphics with a Final Fantasy X HD remaster treatment? Not just a mobile port, but a console overhaul. The market is out there. Square Enix just has to tap into it.
