I played the first two hours of it on PlayStation 2.
It was interesting, to talk with citizens, tour the city, watch the cutscenes, learning the gameplay, etc. The graphics are amazing for its time and the music’s suitable.
As for the gameplay…I don’t like the inverted camera controls.
Because of this, I’m don’t know if I should continue the story. I’m having a hard time getting into it. I stopped after Vayne’s unimpressive speech everybody applauds when he reaches Rabanastre.
It feels different from any Final Fantasy I’ve played. It’s drab and seems really underwhelming. Never played an MMORPG, so I guess this is how one might play? Plus, I hear the story builds, but then falls flat at some point. Why should one invest in this game?
My favorite Final Fantasy games are:
- Final Fantasy I
- Final Fantasy IV
- Final Fantasy VII
- Final Fantasy X
- Final Fantasy XIII
Can you convince me and others down below?
Perhaps then, I should play Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age instead?
