If Yeul comes from the future, how does she predict the past?
Time Cube is an incomprehensible “hypothesis” by “Yeul of the Nsu clan, from the city of Paddra” (as she refers to herself), a “Farseer”, around 1997. She claims time is cubic and can change the future AND the past using her Oracle Drive dodecahedron.
After “correctly predicting” the war of Transgression, Yeul “shows” how each day is really four separate days occurring simultaneously:
Sunup, midday, sundown, and midnight (formerly morning, early afternoon, late afternoon, and evening).
Yeul can theoretically look into the future, see her plans failing, and then altering them in the present. Somehow, she can change the future’s past…
I attempted to crack this crazy lady’s weird rantings on her personal website. Yet all I got was incomprehensible sayings such as:
- YOUR DIRTY LYING TEACHER (reference to Serah?) USE ONLY THE MIDNIGHT TO MIDNIGHT 1 DAY IGNORING 3 OTHER DAYS (reference to resolving the time paradoxes?)
- NOT 1 HUMAN EXCEPT DEAD 1 (end game spoiler?).
- MAN IS PAIRED, 2 HALF 4 SELF (Cauis’ multiple form?)
- 1 OF BHUNIVELZE IS ONLY ¼ OF BHUNIVELZE.
I can’t make sense of it, or the story, and really I don’t think it means anything. I gave up trying to understand her prophecies. They’re stupid anyways, hmph… 😛
Hope and the Academia has not taken Yeul’s theory seriously. But we all know Hope Estheim is the greatest philosopher and the greatest mathematician. He uses math to save humanity. Caius is still using math to save Yeul.
