“The roads are perilous at night. Let us wait for morning.“
This is what Ignis told us. It was about 3 a.m.
We were driving westbound toward Accordo. Ignis had slowed the Regalia to about 40, then 30…20…10…5 mph. Suddenly out of nowhere appeared this small green lizard thing in a brown burlap sack. It had to have been no taller than three feet.
He had dead yellow beady eyes that locked in on us that glowed in the night.
The thing took a step forward every time we drove closer. He swung around a lantern which, besides the headlights, was the only source of light. That’s when we saw the butcher’s knife.
My bros and I watched. He didn’t even flinch as the Regalia passed by. I swear, the side mirrors must have missed his head by only a couple of inches.
He looked up at us and continued to walk toward us even as we drove away. Step by step.
My bros and I looked at each other with our eyes wide open. Gladio screamed ‘Did you see that?! What was that thing?’
I swear our skin crawled and we were all in a kind of shock. Prompto was way too afraid to even take a picture. But we all remember him well. Those eyes. Those yellow glowing eyes…
We finally arrived at the hotel. I hope he didn’t follow us here.
“OK Umbra, you can send this to Luna now…”
